(Senior) Product Owner (m/f/d) App - E-Commerce

As the Product Owner (m/f/d) of our app, you will play a vital role in shaping its future. You will drive product success by blending strategic vision with customer insights, creating a seamless travel experience for our users. This role emphasizes fast feedback cycles, customer-centric features, and managing our app's full lifecycle, from ideation to performance tracking.
Your tasks
  • Product Vision & Strategy: Lead the communication and implementation of the app's vision, transforming strategic goals into clear, actionable plans and value-driven concepts for the team.
  • Customer & Product Discovery: Conduct continuous customer and product discovery to refine the app experience, using data and customer feedback to prioritize impactful features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and manage the app product backlog, aligning it with business objectives, feature efficiency, and high-impact development.
  • Value Generation & Validation: Drive quick value generation with rapid feedback loops, validating new features to ensure they meet usability standards and deliver business impact.
  • Market Monitoring & Trend Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and consistently analyze market trends, app store insights, competitor activity, and emerging mobile technologies. Develop forecasts to identify new trends and respond proactively to evolving customer needs, ensuring the app remains competitive and relevant in the travel industry.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, capturing their requirements and integrating feedback into the product roadmap to align on shared goals.
Your profile
  • Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in product management, focusing on mobile apps and agile development.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong affinity for mobile app UX and a commitment to user-centered development.
  • Analytical & Business Acumen: Skilled in analysis, with sound business judgment and a strategic approach.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and developers.
  • Mobile App Expertise: Familiarity with mobile app technologies, app store submission processes, and a solid understanding of app-related metrics and optimizations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce and the travel industry is highly beneficial.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English. German, Czech, Polish, Slovakian, or Hungarian are a plus.
